Mail fulfilment
Explore service →What can you prepare for mailing?
The service covers printed mail such as letters, leaflets, brochures, coupons, invoices and statements. The team can discuss printing, folding, labelling, inserting and postal preparation for your mailing.
Can you supply or print envelopes?
Plain and printed envelope options are available, including window and non-window formats. Envelope size, opening style and closure should be chosen to suit the contents and insertion method.
Can you print and apply address labels?
Label printing and application can be handled by machine or by hand. Machine application requires suitable roll or fan-fold labels; smaller manual batches can offer more flexibility.
Which paper sizes can you fold?
The service page lists suitable A3, A4, A5 and DL materials among the folding options. Paper weight, finish and the required fold affect suitability; ask the team to review your materials.
Can you insert several pieces into an envelope?
Machine insertion is offered for up to three suitable items in C6, C5, C4 or DL envelopes. Larger or unusual packs may need hand insertion. Send a sample or specification for confirmation.
How far in advance should I book?
Ask the team to confirm the production schedule for your quantity and materials. Allow time to agree artwork, supplies and packing instructions; a dispatch date is separate from postal delivery timing.
What information is needed for a mailing quote?
Include the mailing quantity, number and size of inserts, envelope choice, printing and labelling needs, destinations and target dispatch date. Mention whether you are supplying printed materials or need production support.
How should I provide recipient information?
Ask SmartShip to agree the file format and transfer method before sharing a mailing list. Confirm who supplies and checks addresses, and make sure you have the appropriate authority to use recipients’ information.
